Did You Know?
Deaerators provide about 200 to 400 times greater oxygen removal than a standard preheated atmospheric feedwater tank, which dramatically reduces the quantity of water treatment chemicals needed to protect the boiler from corrosion. In general, deaerators become economically advantageous for boiler plants with more than 250 BHP capacity.
